Land originally known as the "Meyer Pasture" was accumulated in the
late 1800s by Joseph F. Meyer, Sr. What was initially farm and ranch
land, eventually became prime southwest Houston real estate.
The Meyer family began developing this property in 1958 under the name
of Meyer Properties and subsequently changed its name to MC Management and
Development, Inc. Over the Years the firm has developed and acquired
residential subdivisions, apartments, warehouses, office and retail
properties. Now in the fourth generation of family ownership and management,
the company's focus is on retail and office properties in Houston. Currently,
the company owns and manages over 1,100,000 square feet of commercial space at
over 60 sites and has in excess of 130 acres of undeveloped land in inventory.
"We've been in Houston a long time, seen the good times and the bad, and
we're not going anywhere" says the company founder and director - Joseph F. Meyer III.
"Our company's reputation was built on honesty, integrity, and fair negotiations, and
that's why we have many tenants who have been with us for over 20 years."
