Land originally known as the "Meyer Pasture" was accumulated in the late 1800s by Joseph F. Meyer, Sr. What was initially farm and ranch land, eventually became prime southwest Houston real estate. The Meyer family began developing this property in 1958 under the name of Meyer Properties and subsequently changed its name to MC Management and Development, Inc. Over the Years the firm has developed and acquired residential subdivisions, apartments, warehouses, office and retail properties.
